losing weight

Todays the day. Carpe diem. Seize the day. You get it :). I am doing this and posting about it cuz I need the accountability. Today I was 24 pounds from my goal. I hope to be at my goal in 12 weeks. So far so good.


  1. Hey! I was TOTALLY thinking about you this past week, because more than I have in the past 5 years I enjoyed eating this Christmas season. Easting Reese's pbutter cups and LOTS of them, plus any other chocolate and other high calorie things, lol!

    And no, I wasn't thinking of you because you do that, lol. I was thinking of you because I totally and very determinedly DECIDED that it was not going to continue as of, well, as of today.

    So today I am fasting to keep my calorie count down for the week (yes, I've totally jumped on the calorie counting bandwagon, it's been working SUPER well for me - b4 Christmas - and I love it!) and did my workout this morning and HOPEFULLY will be able to stop wearing my fat clothes by Wednesday. LOL!

    Oh and also, I am going to be running in my very first race on February 5th! I'm really excited because I will be doing it with Bret - it's a 5k which is totally doable to me. I ran my first 3 miles on Saturday and it was pure bliss with the tunes in my ear - loved it! And thought of you. =) I was thinking, this is how Jen runs!

    I'm ditching HIIT for longer distance running at least for now, to train for the race and it's going to be fun to try to beat my time.

    Come summer....we're going to be SO GLAD we stuck it out, you know it!!! =)

  2. I'm so impressed that you're ready to tackle these few pounds now, before they become more. How's sweet Macy????
